Music Publishers Sue Anthropic Over Alleged Lyrics Copying
Sony Music Publishing, Warner Chappell and related publishers filed a complaint in the Northern District of California on August 28 against Anthropic, Dario Amodei and Benjamin Mann. They allege unauthorized acquisition and copying of musical compositions for Claude models and outputs. These are allegations in an unresolved suit, not findings of infringement.
