Kenya Artificial Intelligence Bill Pending in the Senate

Kenya's Artificial Intelligence Bill 2026 exists as a Senate bill, not enacted law.

PARADIGM INSIGHTS:

An AI bill should be read from the affected person's end: who must explain a decision, who can inspect its basis and where can the person seek correction or relief? A framework without that route may regulate providers while leaving users stranded. Kenya's Senate bill is proposed law; those questions belong in its review, not in a claim that it has already taken effect.
