AAA and Jus Mundi Survey AI Use in U.S. Arbitration

Their new survey of 557 U.S. arbitration professionals found that regular AI users reported more trust in the tools, while accuracy and confidentiality concerns persisted. Respondents pointed to institutional guidance and arbitration-specific tools as priorities. This is a survey of practitioners, not proof that any particular governance platform works.

PARADIGM INSIGHTS:

The survey shows that use and confidence can rise while accuracy and confidentiality remain unsettled. An arbitration institution should require a usable trail: what the tool received, what it produced, who verified it and what the parties may challenge. Without that trail, efficiency gains turn into a due-process dispute at the enforcement stage.
